Several top-ranking websites from Google Search recommend using emulators and simulators like iPadian.net, smartface.io, etc. To be straightforward, most of them are as good as useless for this job. Do not buy any of these services to get iMessage on Windows. They are a waste of time and money. iPadian has even gone a step ahead and mentioned it in bold letters on their homepage – ‘iMessages is not supported by iPadian.‘ Still, some articles recommend this; some bash the simulator itself!
Using Chrome Remote Desktop
Secondly, let us talk about the Chrome Remote Desktop extension. Yes, using this, you can send, receive, and read iMessages from Windows Computer. However, I do not recommend this either as it requires a Mac that must always be powered on and connected to the internet. Even the screen needs to be continuously on! If you are firm and proceed with this method, the slightest miscommunication or drop of the network will disconnect the remote connection. Even the screen was letter-boxed to a smaller size when we tested it in our office. So, in short, it is doable, but not feasible. The same problems and limitations will be there even if you use any other remote desktop client. Verdict: There is no satisfactory way to use iMessage on Windows 10 computers or laptops.

iMessage can’t work smoothly on Android devices. In fact, the problems are almost similar to those faced with the Google Remote Desktop extension. However, if you are willing to keep a Mac always on and connected to the internet, the following services offer iMessage support on Android.
weMessage: The steps to set up weMessage on Mac (as a server) and Android phone take time. As the app isn’t available from Apple’s official Mac App Store, you will have to modify your Security & Privacy settings to install this app on your Mac. Once it’s installed, open it, and follow the instructions to set it up. AirMessage: The working principle behind AirMessage is the same as weMessage. You need a Mac running Yosemite or higher to act as a server. And you need the AirMessage app on the phone running Android Marshmallow or higher. We all use more than one messaging service. For example, I use WhatsApp for conversations, Slack for work, Twitter DMs for support, etc. Beeper, a ten-dollar monthly subscription service, combines all such popular services, including iMessage, and lets you have a single inbox. It is available on all major operating systems, including Windows, Android, and Linux. Thus, the bottom line is using Beeper; you can have iMessage on non-Apple platforms. Here is how they got it to work: To have a full step-by-step guide and a review, I signed up for Beeper on 2nd February 2021. After three days, I got an update. It said that within two weeks, I would be able to lock my username, and then we (who completed this process) would be invited in groups of 100 to use the app. Sadly, it has been around three weeks now. I haven’t heard from Beeper again. Though, by following them and related people on Twitter, I got to know that they are working hard to secure used iPhones for iMessage to work on Windows and Android for users like me.
